What is custom revenue feature?
The Custom Revenue feature lets you manually add extra income or revenue that doesn’t come from Shopify to your TrueProfit reports.
For example:
You sell products through other channels like Amazon, TikTok Shop, Facebook, or eBay.
You receive income from sources such as tax refunds, coupons, or physical stores (POS).
Adding these incomes manually ensures your reports show a complete and accurate picture of your profit.

Step 2: Add a new revenue

Tips
Use clear, descriptive names (for example, Amazon US Sales – September) for easier tracking later.
After adding a custom revenue, review your total profit to ensure it’s reflected correctly in reports.
Affected metrics in Dashboard
After adding custom revenue, some dashboard metrics will be updated to reflect this new data.
A new metric called Custom Revenue is added to both the dashboard and the Customize Metrics view (for single store and all stores).
The following formulas are updated accordingly:
Metrics | After Custom Revenue Feature |
Revenue | Revenue = Gross Sales – Discounts – Returns + Taxes Collected + Shipping Charged + Custom Revenue |
Average Order Value | Average Order Value = (Revenue – Custom Revenue) / Orders |
Average Order Profit | Average Order Profit = (Net Profit – Custom Revenue) / Orders |
