TrueProfit MCP lets you securely connect your TrueProfit data to AI tools like ChatGPT, Claude, and OpenClaw (formerly Clawdbot). Once connected, you can ask questions in plain English about your store’s profit, products, ads, orders, and performance, and the AI will answer using your TrueProfit data.
Beta notice: This feature is currently in beta, so changes may happen over time. We’d love to hear your feedback. While using TrueProfit MCP in ChatGPT, Claude or OpenClaw (Clawdbot), simply type “feedback” to share your thoughts with us. We review all feedback to help improve the experience over time.

What is TrueProfit MCP?
TrueProfit MCP stands for Model Context Protocol.
It is a secure connection between TrueProfit and AI assistants such as ChatGPT, Claude, and OpenClaw (formerly Clawdbot).
Instead of opening dashboards, filtering reports, or exporting files, you can simply ask questions like:
“What was my net profit yesterday?”
“Why did my profit drop last week?”
“Which products are the most profitable?”
The AI then uses your TrueProfit data to answer those questions inside the chat.
In simple terms, TrueProfit MCP helps you analyze your store faster by letting AI read your TrueProfit data for you.
What do I need before setup?
Before you start, make sure you have:
An active TrueProfit account (not a store account) with sufficient permissions. TrueProfit MCP is currently supported for Admin and Viewer roles only. The Editor role is not supported at this time.

What can you use TrueProfit MCP for?
You can use TrueProfit MCP to ask AI questions about your store’s profit data in plain language.
Common use cases
1. Create financial reports quickly
Instead of checking dashboards manually, you can ask AI to pull the data from TrueProfit and turn it into a clear financial summary. Use this when you want to review business performance every week or month or prepare a monthly or quarterly financial summary.
Example prompts:
“Create a financial report for last week.”
“Summarize my store performance for last month.”
“Generate a quarterly profit report.”
“Compare this month vs last month and explain the main changes.”
AI helps turn detailed TrueProfit data into a report that is clear, organized, and easy to understand, especially for merchants who do not want to analyze every metric manually.
2. Find out why profit went down
Use this when your profit drops and you want to understand the reason quickly.
Instead of checking products, ads, orders, and costs one by one, you can ask AI to identify what changed and where the losses came from.
Example prompts:
“Why did my profit drop yesterday?”
“Why was last week less profitable than the week before?”
“Which products are losing money?”
“Which orders are unprofitable?”
“Where am I spending money inefficiently?”
“What were the biggest reasons my net profit decreased this month?”
AI can help you find the main problem faster, so you can focus on fixing it.
3. Find what is driving profit growth
Use this when you want to understand what is working well and where you should focus more.
Example prompts:
“Why did my profit increase last week?”
“Which products are the most profitable?”
“Which channels are driving the best profit?”
“Are my ads actually profitable?”
“What are the main drivers of profit this month?”
AI helps you spot the products, campaigns, or trends that are making you more money.
4. Understand profit by product, order, ad, or customer
Sometimes users want a more detailed breakdown, not just a summary.
You can ask AI to explain performance from different angles, such as:
product level
order level
advertising level
customer level
Example prompts:
“Which products had the highest profit margin last month?”
“Which orders lost money last week?”
“How much profit am I making per order?”
“Which customers bring the most profit?”
“Which ads are profitable and which are not?”
This helps you understand exactly where profit is coming from — and where it is leaking.
Important notes:
To use this feature, you need ChatGPT Plus or above (see ChatGPT's pricing).
If you’re on a team/enterprise plan for ChatGPT or Claude, make sure you are allowed to add custom connectors/MCP servers.
TrueProfit MCP helps you use AI tools like ChatGPT, Claude, and OpenClaw (Clawdbot) to understand your TrueProfit data more easily. Instead of spending time searching dashboards and reports, you can ask questions and get fast answers about Profit, Orders, Products, Ad performance, Store metrics, and opportunities to improve profit.
