To automatically pull your ad spend from Google into TrueProfit, you need to connect your Google profile to the app and select the ad accounts you want to sync.
Step 1: Go to Marketing Channels
From the left-side menu in TrueProfit, go to Integrations > Marketing Channels.
Step 2: Select Google Ads
You will see a list of available marketing channels you can connect. Click Google Ads.
Step 3: Start the connection
You will see information about how your data is updated. Click Connect to continue.
Step 4: Log in to Google and confirm the connection
If you are not already logged in to your Google account, log in first. Then follow the prompts to confirm the connection with TrueProfit.
Step 5: Grant access
When the Google sign-in screen appears, please check all boxes shown. They typically include permissions such as:
See your personal info, including any personal info you've made publicly available
See, edit, create, and delete your Google Ads accounts and data
(and any other permissions Google requests during this step)
Important: Google does not provide separate controls for these permissions during the connection process. If any of the requested permissions are left unchecked, especially the one for Google Ads accounts and data, TrueProfit will not be able to retrieve your Google Ads Account ID, and the connection to sync your ad spend data will fail.
Please make sure every checkbox is ticked before clicking Continue.
Once your Google account is successfully connected, you can click Add Google Account if you want to connect more accounts.
Note: To disconnect an account, click the 3 dots next to it.
Step 6: Select the ad accounts you want to sync
Click Select Ad Accounts and choose the ad accounts you want to sync with TrueProfit. You can always add more ad accounts later.
Step 6: Sync your ad spend
After selecting your ad accounts, click Sync Ad Spend to start syncing your Google ad spend data.
It may take a few minutes for all data to be pulled in from Google.
TrueProfit will sync your ad spend data starting from either:
the date your store was created, or
up to the last 3 years, whichever is more recent.
Note: To stop syncing a specific ad account, click the 3 dots next to it and select Stop Syncing.
