Connect with Printify print-on-demand

Connecting your Printify account with TrueProfit helps you keep track of your print-on-demand product costs (COGS) per order and track accurate shipping costs automatically. This makes it easy to monitor your true profits and optimize your business.

How to connect with Printify

Before you start, make sure you are using the same Printify email address as your Shopify store so the syncing works smoothly.

  1. Go to the main menu in TrueProfit, select Integrations > Print-on-demand Services.

  2. In the integrations list, find and select Printify.

  3. Click Connect to begin linking your Printify account.

  1. In the pop-up, enter your Printify Store ID and API key (see instructions below to get your API key and Store ID).

  2. Click Connect to complete the setup.

How to get store ID and API Key from your Printify account

  • Step 1:
    ​    Log in to your Printify account. If you don’t have one, sign up and complete their onboarding process.

  • Step 2: Get Printify store ID
    ​    Once you’re logged in, Go to Orders, in your browser’s address bar, you’ll see a URL—copy the Store ID number from that URL. Then, paste this Store ID into the integration popup in TrueProfit.

  • Step 3: Get API key

    Go to Account, then choose Connections. Here, you’ll find your API Tokens.

  • Step 3:
    ​    Click Generate, fill in a token name (e.g., TrueProfit), then choose Generate token.

4. Click "Copy to clipboard" your API key to use in the TrueProfit integration popup.

After connecting, TrueProfit will start syncing your Printify account information and order data automatically.

Viewing Your Synced Data from Printify

After a few minutes, you can check your synced Printify orders in the TrueProfit Orders Report. When orders match between Printify and your store, you’ll see Printify’s icon displayed on your COGS and Shipping Costs fields.You should use this synced data to check and adjust your COGS and shipping fees to ensure accurate profit calculations.

Note:Only orders that are marked as DELIVERED or SHIPPED in Printify will be updated in TrueProfit.

Disconnecting Printify

To disconnect Printify from TrueProfit:

  1. Click the Disconnect button next to Printify on the Integrations page.

  2. In the confirmation pop-up, click Confirm.
